Let’s look at cold storage for crypto—and beyond.
➡️ Marcus Taplin of Deep Freeze Data will present about a counter-trend to today’s era of cloud computing. Perhaps better referred to as a complement to this trend, he discusses the importance of offline (cold) storage for data.
This idea goes well beyond storing crypto keys, and Marcus will share how this rising trend is helping keep our lives secure in an evermore connected world.
OPENING ACT: To kick things off, we’ll also welcome the president of the U of MN Blockchain Club, Alejandro Falabella. Alejandro will introduce himself, his organization, and how the buzz around blockchain is being spread across campus.
